As Aşkale Çimento, while determining our human resources strategies and our priority targets, we consider the environment created by the national and global economy and our fields of activity, as well as the business targets of our company.

Our company, which plants an average of a thousand trees every year, carried out a significant germination and afforestation work at the factory in Aşkale in 2009. Thus, no treeless area was left in the factory area and on the edges. Grass planting was carried out in hundreds of square meters. Our company strives to develop the greening and afforestation areas in all its facilities and to carry them into the future.

We strive to improve the quality of life of the society we live in and to contribute to a safer and more prosperous future. All the elements that make up us spend their efforts and energies in this direction. It is important for us to contribute to our country's social, environmental and economic development goals. In the light of all these facts, we have serious goals and strategies for 2023. We believe that the dilemmas of this country can only be overcome by utilizing its production and raw material resources.

In 2010, a total of 10 thousand plantings were made, including 8 thousand 300 yellow pine and 1,700 birch, in the project and land purchase. The surrounding of the nursery, which is close to our factory site, was also protected and fenced. The area in question is kept under constant control by both the experts of the Environment and Forestry Directorate and our company personnel. Our company makes maximum effort to develop the areas where greening and afforestation is done and to carry them into the future.
