The Trabzon Cement Factory, which was put up for sale by the SDIF in 2005, was purchased by Aşkale Cement on 29.12.2005 for a payment of 81 million 250 thousand dollars. After this acquisition, in the Trabzon Factory where serious investments were made, especially in the environment, CEM I 42.5 R, CEM II / A-LL 42.5 R, CEM II / AM (P-LL) 42, There are EC certificates of conformity for 5 R and CEM II / BM (P-LL) 32.5 R products.
