A.S.Kavçim Cement Factory is established on an area of 125.000 m2 in Bekdemir Mahallesi, Kavak district of Samsun province, 8 km from Samsun-Ankara highway, 10 km from Kavak district center, 52 km from Samsun city center, 56 km from Samsun Port, 72 km from Çarşamba and Merzifon Airports. km away.
The factory, purchased on 15.07.2016, produced the first clinker on 18 October 2016 and the first cement on 22 November 2016.
The factory, which is the largest in the region and one of the largest cement factories in Turkey, with a production capacity of 1.137.500 t / year clinker and 1.497.600 t / year cement, besides its domestic sales, it currently supplies cement and clinker to countries such as Ghana, Georgia and Russia It also exports.
The facility has a production line consisting of 3 crushers, 2 raw mills, 2 coal mills, 1 rotary kiln, 1 roller press and 2 cement mills, as well as preblending with a capacity of 40.00 tons, raw meal with a capacity of 20.000 t, clinker with a capacity of 90.000 t and cement stock silos with a capacity of 20.000 t. .
The factory produces and sells CEM I 42,5R (Portland Cement), CEM II / AL 42,5R (Portland Limestone Cement) and CEM II / BL 32,5R (Portland Limestone Cement) together with clinker. Each of these products, which are put on the market with a sustainable and quality production approach, have “Performance Stability Certificates” obtained from accredited organizations. Input, product and process control are carried out in laboratories equipped with modern equipment.
The factory prioritizes both environment and employee safety with its sensitive approach to environmental and occupational health and safety issues. The factory, which is equipped with 53 filters for dedusting, receives service from a common health and safety unit in addition to its permanent employees in terms of OHS.
